Comments:
Wayne served in the US Army and went to Viet Nam. While in the Army, he used his artistic skills and sketched many drawings some of which are currently on display in the Pentagon. He also provided many photographs from his combat experiences. Wayne was wounded while in Viet Nam and received the Purple Heart. He married Kathy Sopola and together, they raised a wonderful family. Wayne was a very successful commercial artist who owned his own business and created artwork for many high profile businesses around the country. He and Kathy remained Kenosha residents throughout their marriage although his business was located in Chicago.
