Comments:

I have had various jobs throughout the years. My first full-time job was at the First National Bank on Sixth Avenue and 56th Street.

My next job was at Harmony Hall on Third Avenue (SPEBSQSA). I worked there for a little more than a year.

We moved to Merrill, Wisconsin and lived there for 11 years. I worked at the brand new, just opening Fiskars Factory in Wausau, Wisconsin. Didn't stay there long - did not like factory work. From there I went to a position at Park City Credit Union in Merrill as the Secretary for the President and the Board of Directors, as well as being a teller and handling all Certificates of Deposit.

We moved from Merrill back to Kenosha, where I worked for a year for 2 attorneys in Kenosha and had a reupholstering business with a friend.

I did not work there long, as I was offered a job at Abbott Laboratories. I started there as a secretary and was promoted after several years to a Meeting Planner. I worked as a planner for 11 years and retired in 2002.

Since retiring, we have spent the winters in Florida (first) and then in Arizona. Liking the desert weather better, we continue to spend time in Arizona every winter.

School Story:

All through high school, I participated in choir. Our last year of high school was split shifts - too many kids and not enough room or teachers! Gave us all a chance to get a job.

Loved my high school years. Lots of good memories, football at the Lakefront Stadium, Sadie Hawkins, Prom, the Annex, etc.

Working on the Class Reunions, especially the 50th, has truly been a labor of love for me. I have always loved attending the reunions and catching up with old friends!

My beloved Kenny suffered many illnesses over the last 15 years of his life - but he never complained or took it out on anyone else. During our entire 57 years of marriage, he never failed to tell me every day how much he loved me and was grateful to share our life together. He was a truly honorable man; loyal, protective, and open. I am so glad I chose him. We had a great life but it was gone too soon. I look forward to being with him again; My soulemate and best friend. Kathee Jennings SEMPER - ALWAYS

You are most welcome, Sandy. The beach house did not have air, so it probably would have been too hot for you. We did have a great time.
