I had the opportunity to view Jeff's memorial service this past Saturday afternoon via Zoom. Many heartfelt thoughts and memories were spoken by friends and family to tell about the positive effect that he had on everyone around him. After a successful engineering career Jeff went on to even more success after he retired doing charitable work in his community and even bringing back a local business from near failure to a huge turn around. Jeff is an example of unselfish love and caring for others that was felt by all who knew him and they still feel that love and care inside their hearts. If there is a Hall of Fame for the Class of 1963, Jeff should be in it and at the top. Any of us would be hard pressed to duplicate the goodness that Jeff gave to our world but what a wonderful journey it would be to try and find that special place in ourselves that Jeff was able to locate in himself and express to others. Jeff and I went to school together from 3rd grade at Hannan school. I had not seen Jeff for many years untill the last reunion. I always knew Jeff would make something of himself in as much as he was always one of the brightest kids in the class. I am so sorry to read of his passing. I was hopeing to see him one more time at the 60th but I was a bit under the weather so was unable to attend and now I have just read on the class site that he has passed. I consider myself lucky to have been his friend. May God bless him and rest in peace.
