Jeffrey Hansche

Jeffrey Robert "Jeff" Hansche

June 8, 1945 - March 22, 2022

KENOSHA - Jeffrey Robert "Jeff" Hansche was called home to our Lord and a reunion with his brother and best friend, Don, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, with his loving wife and daughter at his side.

Jeff was born on June 8, 1945, in Kenosha to Donald and Ruth (Rhode) Hansche. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School and Lincoln Junior High. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1963 and joined the Army Reserves where he perfected his cooking skills and came to be known as "Chef Jeff" by family and friends.

Jeff fell in love with Phyllis Bohn on a hayride at the farm he worked on as a teenager. They were married at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in 1967, the same church where he served on the Board of Trustees for several years. His beloved daughter, Connie, made their life complete.

Jeff retired from Chrysler as a Production Control Material Handling Supervisor after 30 years of employment in 2000.

In 1998, Jeff and Phyllis built a vacation home in Wild Rose, WI where many memories were made with family and friends, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, Holidays, and enjoying nature in the woods. He loved the outdoors where he tended to his beautiful yard, garden and the pounds of bird feed he left for the variety of guests his bird feeders welcomed. He was a loyal Packer and Cub's fan and was excited to celebrate the 2016 World Series Cub's victory. Jeff generously supported his community working at the soup kitchen for more than 20 years.

Jeff left his final gift of wonderful memories to his loving wife, Phyllis and daughter, Connie; his sister, Margo Klobuchar and sisters-in-law, Judy Hansche and Rita Weis, along with numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends

Jeff will be joined in heaven with his parents and brothers, William and Donald; brother-in-law, Donald Klobuchar, mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Dora Bohn and sister-in-law, Linda Simons.

Memorial services honoring Jeffrey's life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 10239 136th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53142. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Jeff's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Fund or to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
